Default Successful Craft/Art Fair

I finally had a very successful day at a craft fair this past Saturday. Sold all my seasonal table runners, potholders and casserole covers. Now I have another fair this Saturday and I will need to hide in my quilt room for a week to make more. At l least now I have a good reason (not that I need one) to quilt all week. Wish I didn't have to go to my regular job. Wonder what my boss would say if I brought my sewing machine with me to work.

I also do craft fairs. May I pick your brain? I have not been very successful with what I sell, aprons, potholders, bibs, cassorle carriers. What is the best way to have a good sale? Please PM me as I really need to know.

Congrats on having a good show! I know the pressure of having a good show and another one booked soon after ! Keep stitching!

Congrats on a good Craft show!! It is a mixed blessing that everything sold when you have another one coming up, but hey that is a good place to be.

Congratulations on a good show! I went to one in Sandwich, IL this past weekend..it was so well attended and the crafts were outstanding. I hope the crafters made a lot of money! One booth had a line out the "door"...it was mittens made from old wool sweaters (washed and shrunken) and they were lined with flannel. $28 a pair..Yep, I now own a pair and will wear them on my walk every day when it gets cold. How is that for an idea for you?

I was selling at this show, too. Well attended as always...I never got to walk around at the show, but I think I know the women that make those. We were across from each other at another show.
Made some money...and should be sewing right now, instead of on here...

Good to hear you did well! Isn't that a nice feeling?! being "appreciated"!
