I just posted this under the heading "spare time anyone" and now realize that was a stupid subject line to use 6 weeks before Christmas------so this is the real subject line.

It's knitting, not quilting but I know a lot of you are multi-talented.

I'm going to try to get 3 or so scarves done for Indiana Special Olympics. Have to have them mailed by Dec. 24. @@

I can't knit, but what a worthwhile cause.

I may have to try Virginia where my GS lives or just aim at the national meet.

Although, I can knit will hubby is home. Can't sew, though.

Headed for my local Wally World in the AM. They've down sized stuff so much that they may not carry the blue and turquoise. Those are basic colors, though.

Thanks for bringing this site to my attention. I went under Texas and we nmeed 3500 by Jan20 to mail. Deadline is Jan 27. I found a crochet pattern and will be making quite a few. 6" x 54" will come together fast.
I will let you know how many I finish by dec.20 my goal so not last minute. LOL. Hope my walmart has the yarn. It has gotten rid of most of the fabric and such. I can go to Ft. Worth though. HUGS. This will be fun.
