Boy, today browsing the recent topics and the unread topics it seemed like there were 4-7 recipes between every 1 quilting post--
is it just because it's fall- and people are in a 'cooking mood'? or are we becoming a cooking show and leaving our sewing rooms behind?
i sure hope not- not that i'm appossed to cooking- tend to actually eat 3 times a day-
just seems like a quilter's message board would be a bit more ... well...quilting ;)

well, this quilting forum is a place for quilters to get together and talk about whatever they want/need to talk about... Don't think cooking is becoming more important than quilting at all.

I have noticed the same thing. I love some recipes but see this for some to post to sell items.

You should be able to go to your profile page and click on what topics you want under "Unread Topics" click off recipes and that will stop all them from showing up

Yep, and I get far more done on those days 'cause I just jump right back off the board.

That's why we have a separate section for Recipe's If you don't want to see them, unwatch them.
