Default surprise at work

Today is the one year anniversary of my husband's leg injury. Last year he fell on the ice and tore his quadricep muscle completely away from his knee and has been out of work since. I got to work today and there was a Christmas cactus on my desk with a card from his leg thanking me for taking care of him for the last year.
Gotta love him!

Sounds like you have a very creative thinking hubby as well as sweet one! Hope he recovers completely and is able to go back to work soon (or find a new career that will utilize his creative streak).

Hope he is doing better and will be up and around soon. I know you are both looking forward to his complete recovery.

That is so cute, the only thing I got from my husband for doing his therapy for 6 weeks, he told my son and daughter in law how awful I was. I didn't expect anything but a thank you would have been nice

You truly have a wonderful husband to send you something for putting up with him lol I know my hubby I love him to death but oh my lord he acts like a 5 yr old when he's sick. Anyone else have hubbies that resort to their inner child when they are sick?

That just made me say, "Awwww." How nice of him, especially since I'll bet he was pretty miserable! (Where in S. Wis. are you? I grew up in Fort Atkinson.)
