Like a lot of you, I'm a faithful watcher of American Idol. I think you'll enjoy this clip from the British Idol show. It actually brought tears to my eyes. Let's hear it for the old broads!

Hasnīt she just got the most wonderful voice. didnīt kow you got that programme as well. I was specially interested when she said she came from Blackburn which is a tiny village in Scotland not far from where I was born. When she started to sing she just knocked my socks off.
Beautiful, I want to hear more too.

I want to hear more of her!
I loved the shock looks of the judges when they heard her sing and how the audience that was laughing at her before she started singing ended up giving her a standing ovation and applauding her.
Whats that old saying? I think its Never judge a book by its cover. Well this goes for people as well. :)

She was great, wasn't she? It was on the news last night how she has become a youtube sensation, even being reported on in the news in the US.
Britain's Got Talent is a different show to X Factor (the name for the Brit version of American Idol). Anyone can audition at any age with any talent, not just singing.
Last year a young lad called George Sampson won it with a dance routine, and the year before it was a mobile phone salesman who was an incredible amateur opera singer, Paul Potts. Lots of the contestants have gone on to some degree of success even if they didn't win. My favourite last year was Kate and her dancing dog Gin. They got to the final!

Man when I saw her yesterday morning I was like wow you got GUTS then I heard her voice it brought tears to my eyes, a smile on my face and I just laughed when she started to walk off the stage. She really thought they felt she was to old. But my goodness God gave her that voice I'm surprised that she hasn't used it before or been discovered.
Ladies keep us posted on how she is doing and I hope she wins.
