Thank you quilting board for the birthday wishes. As I've grown older, I've come to a conclusion that birthdays aren't a curse, they are a gift just like every morning you wake up!
It is nice to wake up in the morning, isn't it? And these days, the tasks are fun: finish binding on throw for my hubby; make coasters for reading group; ready project to work on Tuesday at quilting group. I guess I should have some meals and do some dishes and things like that, too

Absolutely! I love telling the kids at school how old I am. The little ones say, "My grandmother is younger than you!"
The older ones nicely tell me I don't look my age.
But I have earned my wrinkles and wisdom over the years.
Always enjoy the age you are!!!!!!!!!
just remember, dont regret getting older it is a privilege
denied by many.
Every day I wake up is a great day. I am the last one of five - three younger and 1 older. I appreciate every birthday. Sure beats the alterative.
