Default Baby carrier cover

Anyone make these? Did you use a purchased pattern or did you just custom fit it? Our nephew/his wife are expecting their first child-a girl! Yeah! So I am "girling" it up for them.

There is a tutorial at make-it-do.com for a carrier cover.

I have made one. My Daughter loves it and all her friends want one. But I never even made one for my oldest daughter for my second grand baby. Glad you found a pattern!

Moda Bake Shop has a free pattern, look under "recipes", not sure exactly what category, baby? don't think quilts... the fabric used is the Moda "Sophie" line It very cute and not too complicated.
Good luck!

Update: the pattern I was speaking of is no longer in the Moda bake Shop website, but I did find it when I googled "Sophie car seat quilt" Sorry for the inconvenience . JB

Here is the tute I used. http://www.sumossweetstuff.com/2010/...-tent.html?m=1 If you have access to the carrier you plan to use it on...it is good to check the placement of the straps...some are different.
