Default Is there a diabetes registry somewhere?

Since DH has been diagnosed with diabetes, we have been getting all sorts of unsolicited calls for monitors, medical alerts, etc.

How do these entities get our phone number?

one of the great mysteries of life.... happened to us as well. DH is hard of hearing so he passes the phone off to me and I give them an earful. Maybe our doctors sell our info, who knows?

spy apps. they seem to be everywhere. shame. get on the Do Not call list and start reporting them daily. I have to or we are inundated!

My best guess would be from your insurance company or your pharmacy....of the two, your pharmacy is most likely the source...ain't gettin' older just lovely!!!

My SO has diabetes allso, and since his insurance lets him get some of his supplies from a medical supply house, I think thats how they got our phone numbers. His cell and our house. But what really bugs me, is how did some of these places out there get one of our e-mail addresses?

Drs often disclose and pharmacy although I've never understood how that is not a HIPPA violation!
If you look up stuff on the internet they can see who's looking at what.
We get junk calls and mail all the time.

I am on the Do NOt Call list and feel like it is a joke. I get endless calls. Sometime 8 or more a day. Not sure it does any good to be on the list and i head there is n enforcement of it anyway.

Telemarketers are not to blame, they are only doing their job. I just say, Oh, my, could you hold for a moment. Lay the phone down and walk away. I hang up in a while after they have moved on because they need to make X number of calls

Had a salesperson call here and DH told them we were not interested. He finally handed me the phone and I asked what part of NO they didn't understand and DO NOT call again. If you have a real person you can tell them remove me from your list, I WILL NOT buy your product so leave me alone. After a few times, they will quit calling as they do not want to waste their time with no chance of a sale.
