Start watching the airline ads. My friend lives in Dallas and got a late night ticket to CA for $20.00 round trip, my grandson got a flight to Tampa FL round trip for $100. You just have to be willing to go at odd hours. Get up early, after midnight, and haunt the computer. Or, perhaps you could plan a meeting half way for a couple of days. Those grands are so special. I have 5 grands and 6 greats.
