Whoa, sounds a bit like suicide -- a very permanent solution for a temporary situation.:-D Surely this time will pass?! Hang onto every thing!

I don't have a sewing room but a corner in the dining room is my HOME in my home. I manage to sew at least 30 minutes every day and yes I work full time too. Don't get rid of your stuff. You'll be surprised how much sewing you can get done if you don't have to set the machine up everytime you want to sew. My family knows I have to sew to keep myself grounded and sane. I consider looking at patterns part of my creative process. Hang in there. We've all been there at least once.

I know the feeling, I sew in the corner of the living room, and having to put things away all the fime is a hassle. Plus I work full time, and long hours so it seems I hardly have time to quilt. But DH has promised me to create me my own sewing space in our sun room as soon as we get done with our BR project that we are currently working on. It won't be real big, but at least I won't have to pick up all the time.

:-D Can't wait...Yeah!

Yea, that little machine is "sweet pea". I loved her from the moment I seen her and almost didn't buy it! She makes me smile when I see her!

Thanks for the support, I was just having a weak moment or two! I have a autumn lapquilt cut out and ready for action. Just not getting the time to sew, but I will sooner or later! ;-)
Don't give up!! Remember, sleep is over-rated!!LOL

Oh no, you can't sleep under a virtual quilt - if you have no time now, it doesn't mean that you will never have time. And when that comes, if you have sold everything, you will have to start buying again.

I bought a spinning wheel in the 70's and was never able to get 'the knack' on my own. I dusted it as a pretty ornament for years, then 7 years ago found a spinning group and away I went after a bit of help. Don't give up.

Thanks everyone! I get a bit discouraged at times and I know I shouldn't. I have a very nice sewing room, mmm several machines, a stash of material and yet to find time to use it. I decided to spend less time on this QB, yet here I am this a.m. before heading to work. You guys are wonderful!

First of all...from a woman over 50...how old are you??? Mother Nature plays bad tricks with our emotions for many years before we get to call it quits...if you know what I mean...
