I've been wondering what was in the package with Tom Hanks on the island?
and
How many eggs did Paul Newman (Cool Hand Luke) eat?

As I recall in Castaway they never showed what was in the package.
As for Cool Hand Luke (btw, I named the squirrel in my icon this) he ate 50 eggs in an hour.
Considering eggs back then may have had about 300mg of cholesterol each. That adds up to 15000 mg of cholesterol he consumed!!

I don't think so. He never did open the package. I think they kept it a mystery for fun, but I am a very curious person, and always want to know the answers to things.
