Default Thoughts to everyone caught in the storms and fires...

Hi...I have just heard from a friend of my Dolls quilt swop partner this month to say she is without power and so it might be delayed......on another forum we are waiting also to hear from someone and noone can get hold of her and we know that she is also in a strorm effected area.......My thoughts are with everyone at the moment who is struggling because of the storms and fires....we in the UK have had some mild storms and some bad floods but you guys iin the US are really being hit.....Please take care.....all of us can wait for swops....we would rather just hear that you are safe.....Hoping everyone on the board and their families are safe.. Little RoO

Thanks Little RoO. I know England has had storms with bad winds and rain too. The fire fighters here do the very best they can with the terrain. Mostly they try to save homes and make the fire "turn" it's course as it goes on. Mother Nature has her own mind of what she wants to do.
My City hasn't had fire but I noticed that the City now tells it's Citizens to make emergency plans for future.

I feel so horrible for all the people & creatures having to endure these natural disasters. Our A/C went out yesterday & I really thought I had it bad (LOL) until I thought abut what so much of the country is dealing with.
