    a friend in Australia said she was going on a short trip and one area is 30 minutes different in time zones!! 30 minutes, why not one hour?odd.

    very true, now in Indiana, USA we have 2 time zones, really confusing and some of the people works in different counties, so they have 2 time zones to worry about

    We have our own time zone - Newfoundland Standard Time - 1.5 hours ahead of Eastern Standard Time.
