Happy Anniversary! We just celebrated a measly 25 yrs but my feelings are much the same...would hate to have to train a new one - particularly since I've not been overly successful with training this one! Although he is much the keeper. May you have another happy 43!

Congrats on being a role model on how marriage works when both people choose wisely, love each other and are committed to the relationship and marriage. I would bet many of the "youngers" will trade in their spouse multiple times vs. truly commit to the good times and the rocky times. Enjoy your day.

Congratulations!!!! We have been married for over 59 yrs.. Everybody said it wouldn't last. 4 kids, 6 grands, and 14 great grands. I don't know where the time has gone, but it sure seems to have gone too fast. We enjoy each other's company still!!!!!!!!!!!!

I truly enjoy that we can be so blatently honest on this board. I have been married for 41 years but, if you ask my DH, he answers that it seems like 75 years. HA HA! There are days when it does seem like 75.
I figure if the good outweighs the bad, then we had better be sticking together. I said the words, "Until death us do part." and I meant it--- so I am stuck. Most days are good day but there have been some pretty rough stretches of time.
Like someone else said, I didn't do such a good job training this one, sure am not looking to do the "training" all over again!
