I am sending this only to my smart friends. I could not figure it out.
See if you can figure out what these seven words all have in common?

1. Banana
2. Dresser
3. Grammar
4. Potato
5. Revive
6. Uneven
7. Assess

Are you peeking or have you already given up?
Give it another try....
Look at each word carefully. You'll kick yourself when you discover the answer. This is so cool.....

No, it is not that they all have at least
2 double letters.... but a good try
Let me know if you found the answer - I didn't!

I know!! Skip the first letter and then the rest of the letters are the same forward and backward.

If you drop off the first letter, the remaining letters are a palindrome(spell the same forwards and backwards)?

I got it too, but then, I love a good palindrome. When I moved to Oklahoma, my friend overused one in particular:

Tulsa saw I was a slut. He thought it was hysterical.

My personal favorite is: Rats live on no evil star.

Sorry. We should have pm'd our answers to you and let the rest of the board have fun. I thought of that about a second after hitting the send button.

If you take the first letter and put it on the end, it spells the same word, backward.
