Default princess dress

I have granddaughters who like to play dress up. Just finished this one today. It is so fun to sew for them. There are silk flowers between the two layers of chiffon in the skirt. I didn't have a pattern, just made it up as I went. All the materials where things that I had in my collection -- didn't cost me anything.

How fun! I remember making princesses dresses for my daughter when she was young – I even made her a skirt with those flower petals. Good memories.

I love to sew for my granddaughters - they are so appreciative and really like what I make them. Beautiful dress.

When my oldest granddaughter was young I loved making dress up clothes for her because she enjoyed playing in them so much. She is 16 now so I don't make her dress up clothes anymore. My two younger granddaughters never seemed that interested even though I did make them a few things. Your dress is very pretty.
