I'm fine in the kc area...we just had hail in places and it looked real bad for a bit but, up north of us it hit and down in Oklahoma. Thanks for thinking of us! It could have been way worse by the looks of it. Skeat

We had "Strong" thunderstorms and "damaging winds" in our area (southern Indiana). No problems here except lack of sleep from the weather sirens going off all night....

Fri we had strong storms, uprooted a huge old oak tree in back yard. It fell between the house and well house, took out all our power and crushed the well house. Finally restored Mon evening. We were very lucky it didn't hit the house. Last night we were in the path again. Went around us but many were not so lucky. MO had folks lose their lives and some very severe injuries and property loss. All areas of our country need our prayers.

Bluebird, sorry about the loss of the tree and power, and of course water when the well is out because of no power!
Is that one of your quilt inspectors doing double duty as a damage control inspector?

We are fine here in the St. Louis area, but north of us there were fatalities during last night's storms with much property damage. And in Illinois, there was lots of property damage.

Prayers are needed everywhere for Mother Nature to be kind to us.

So sorry to hear of your woes. This is why I say I would rather have the earthquakes in Ca then these storms on the east coast where I am now. Earth quakes last one min or less. These storms can last hours. They scare me to death.
