My first quilt was a disaster on wheels. I was so embarrassed of it that I hid in my closet with the intention of using it as a dog blanket or throwing it away.
Tonight I went in my little girl's room to check in her while she slept. My sweet little one had it all wrapped around herself, and her puppy was nestled under a corner of it with his little head peeping out. I have no idea how she found it. I almost took a picture but I did not want to disturb their sleep. Somehow that quilt doesn't look so awful now.
