    a trip trip to Savannah

My Dh and I will be going on a getaway to Savannah. I have been there once a few years ago, but think we missed some things. I do want to find a quilt shop and we will be there for a few days so help me find some good eateries. I know there are members that live there. What kind of clothes to take, I think it will be cold.

DH and I were there last Aug. The only shop we went to was Colonial Quilts the Quilt Store - 11710-A Largo Dr. Savannah, Georgia 31419 912-925-0055. They do have a web site and a blog. Really nice people. Sandy

thanks ,I will check it out. I don't want to spend to much of our time going to LQS, but if it is close , I don't want to pass it up.

Paula Deen's Restaurant was good. The buffet was great. Uncle Bubba's Seafood Restaurant is outstanding.
Also, Toucan's is eclectic looking, but excellent food.

Nice to see all the recommendations we are planning on going that way maybe in June or July I ordered a free tourism book from the State and it's got all kinds of wonderful recommendations in it. You maybe should order the book as well, we found a great place to stay at with our dog and he's allowed up on the furniture as well. They have private 1 and 2 bedroom apartments downstairs and they live up on the 2nd level they rescue Great Dane's.
