I am looking for a new free Image hosting site. Right now I use photo bucket. I am having so many problems with it. It is running extremely slow. And is freezing up my computer. I even deleted a couple of my albums hoping this would speed it up. (Which was a major feet in itself. Because it kept freezing up my computer.) I use photo bucket to resize my pictures for posting here on the quilt board. So, any help or suggestions are very welcome.

I really don't think it's my computer. I have Norton anti-virus protection. And it works really well. I clean up and back up my computer on a regular basis.

I know photobucket is making a lot of changes and I suspicion this is the slow down.

Any suggestions on a new Image hosting site.

I have used ImageShack, but if you just want to resize, there is a simple, small program you can download for free, called Paint.net. easy to use.

hate Paint!! but use it to edit my photos. i have photobucket and it is working better now. the changes are ok, but i wish they would just leave well enough alone. good luck.

Goggle offers Picasa for free. However, it sounds like you might be using most of your computer memory; that will slow things down.

It may not be photo bucket. I also have Norton and it is good virus protection however my computer was acting the same way yours is and was infected by malware (I think it came from the board here when I downloaded a "viewer"). After spending $100 on software to clean my files, I found this free version that worked well on my other computer.
