Has anyone dealt with this franchised business? I'm trying to find info, most especially from ppl who've had the opening cut into the side of a bathtub by tubcutters.

It's a cut out about 2ft wide by 8 1/2" deep. Then covered over to look nice. It's done mostly for older/handicapped ppl who need an easier way in/out of a tub.Thanks.....

no i haven't but i've thought about it. there is a company that Lowe's deals with specificially that does bathrooms. the displays looked great and the commercials sounded wonderful. but online there were many complaints.
do a search online to find more info yourself.

Check Better Business Burrow(sp) can they give you references? I didn't know you could do it to existing tubs

Yes, this for existing tubs. The step in is 8" high, so with shower curtain, keeps water in. I'm interested in shower only,as we never use a tub. Here's the url.I wouls also want to see a couple they installed.

I've never heard of them, but I really like the heart in your avatar. It is just pretty.

I haven't seen this before. Looks strange to me!

We had Bathfitters take out an old cast iron tub and put in a nice walk-in shower for 88 y.o. MIL. It looks great, took one day, installers fixed a couple other issues behind/under old tub. MIL absolutely loves it.

FYI: this ran 4-5K here, don't know if it varies by locales. Range given due to whether or not you get glass shower doors.
