I bought a frozen turkey and put it in the fridge to thaw Wed night. It is 11.6 pounds. We were supposed to have it Saturday but we all got sick so today is the day we are finally going to get it in the oven. I want to make double sure it is going to be good to eat...a little paranoid LOL! We definitely don't need to get sick again! I am pretty sure I have no worries but would like to know what you all think.

As long as it has been refrigerated all that time, I would cook it. I am not an expert.

It should be fine, I had one in the fridge for a week cause my oven went out, when I got it out to cook it there were still ice crystals inside.

Just a note from the Butterball hotline.
A turkey is safe in the refrigerator up to 4 days after it is totally thawed.
So adding the thawing time - you should be safe for 6 - 7 days after refrigerating an 11 lb turkey.
