Can I take my turkey out of the freezer and put it in the fridge to thaw today? Or is that too early?

Mine has been thawing since Saturday in the fridge. I think today would be fine for you to take yours out.

Yes, today....it might not be entirely defrosted if you don't.

Just a note from the Butterball hotline.
A turkey is safe in the refrigerator up to 4 days after it is totally thawed. Had to call since my sister's son put hers is the frig instead of the freezer last Wed. It was a 22 lp one and they said no problem - it can not be totally thawed even yet.
