I can picture a happy tot bouncing up and down on the turtle's back. But if you ever feel the need to make another reptile....patchwork one, and save yourself the knitting grief.

I just know that turtle will be loved to death! It will be hugged, loved, dragged around, wallowed on, and anything else a young mind can think of.

thanks Iraxy. You only live 2 hours from me. I'm in Crescent City! We've been here almost 23 years now. I appreciate what you wrote and hope that will be the case.

Last night I made 3 quilted cloth turtles (stuffed with polyester stuffing) (not big like the one above.) I have to finish the 3rd one today. I will post a picture when there are 3 to show. Like to sell but no clue what one would pay. They are about 5 by 7 inches and could be decorative or used as a pincushion.

Thanks Myrna. I sure hope you are right! I have packaged up your small turtle and will get it in the mail tomorrow. Hope you like it. It would also make a cute pin-cushion. I don't know what plans you have for it. It is also just a nice size for babies fingers. Now who do you know and are VERY close too, that has little baby fingers???? ggl.
