We have been packing and getting ready to move to our new house! I haven't had time to get onto my favorite board or quilt! I'm having withdrawls, "badly". Lately went to see a new puppy as well. The woman admitted to not having the money to take care of the puppies or the momma. I couldn't turn my back on them. I took them all home and started making phone calls. The puppies, now are at a no kill shelter getting their medical needs and getting ready to be adopted. I decided to keep the momma, "Nibbles". She is a Papillon and a wonderful momma. But, now she gets to just enjoy life for her. She is at my vet. now getting spayed and caught up on her shots as well. I can't wait for her to come home again, Ido miss her already. She is only 3 yrs old and a momma of six boys.. WOW... Just breaks my heart, because she is so hand shy, timid and scared of her shadow. I can't wait to see her trust and come out of her shell.
I have to say this has been an experience I will never forget. 4 boy puppies and momma for a week!! LOL. those puppies were great, and all different! I would do it again, if I had to. Just a few pics.

They are so cute. I would have done the same. Only I might have had to keep one of the boys so mom would have a play mate if she doesn't already have one.

Yes, this is so hard. I miss them all. They were lovers. Cute, pugie lil guys. I still cry cause they had to go. I think that is why I posted it here. I live in Kansas with many farmers/or people that consider them "just animals", I do understand that, but I just couldn't leave them there. I just hurt they are gone, although I know it was to give them all a good chance at a home. They were very sick when I took them, and now they are just blossoming and so happy and healthy. I miss them...

What a wonderful person you are. Now those babies have a chance for a better life and momma can rest, bless her little heart.
