Default Unhappy News

it is with great sadness that i report the passing of one of our members.

oldcottontop a junior member of this board died this week. It was quite a shock to her friends as she had not been ill. Linda had just retired and was planning all the quilts she wanted to make. She was also a valued member of her Church quilting guild. She will definitely be missed.

she was a caring person. her signature was "People may not remember exactly what you did, or what you said --but--They will always remember how you made them feel."

i'm sure she will be remembered as somebody who made those around her feel special.

May memories of her be a comfort to those who knew and loved her.

How very sad. I remember remarking to myself what a wonderful signature she had. My thoughts are with her friends and family.

Condolences to her family. We never like to hear this type of news but especially at this time of year when families are planning family fun and joyous celebrations of Christmas.
Prayers for the family
