Hi all -- As you may know, we're on the road. We could NOT live without internet so we got an aircard!

We're in Ridgecrest, California...at a Lost Dutchman Mining Association mining camp. It's on the edge of the Mojave Desert and if ANYONE tries to tell you it's beautiful here....have them committed!!! It's windy, dusty, and we've only found enough gold to MAYBE buy a beer! BUT, we've rested, crocheted, read a lot and found an AWESOME Thai restaurant.

I LOVE the changes on the forum!!! SO much easier to read! Good deal, Admin!

Hope all is well with everyone and I'll catch up with all the postings AFTER DH gets to check his forums.... ;)

LOL I think I'll try to take pics tomorrow and try to post them......it's the biggest expanse of "NOTHING" I've ever seen!

After the 1st of the year, we're headed to Quartzsite Arizona for a coupla weeks. Gotta check out the big flea market there. Then we're going to the Lost Dutchman Assoc. mining camp NE of Phoenix, Az and will meet up with friends. Sometime in late Feb/ March we're headed to Yuma to meet with more friends and go across the border for cheap dental work AND fish tacos!!!! mmmmMM can't wait!

Have you found the Quilted Quail? I found some fabric in their shop on line. They were so very nice and oh, so helpful! I think it will be a fun shop to visit. Here's the address I got off of their web site.

The Quilted Quail
