Very nice story. One of my dogs is from County shelter and other 3 from homes that needed to give them a new home. What surprises me that people who have had a dog for 2-5 years never inquire how they are doing after a week or so. I always wonder about the kittens I have found homes for and will follow up with an email after a couple months to see how they are doing. I do not have any strong attachment to the kittens but still wonder how they are doing. Take care.

What a heart warming story! We have had a few rescue dogs, our two Boxers in my avatar are our current ones. I think they must sense how lucky they are and reward you with so much love and loyalty. Thanks for sharing that!

Like I always say, adopt a dog/cat save a life. i don't understand why we need to breed animals when there are so many unwanted ones. Maybe one day people will come to their senses and there will be no more unwanted, neglected animals.

What a beautiful picture! Every little boy needs a dog as a best friend.

I have a rescue Border Collie and he is just the most beautiful dog. It's lovely to see a boy and his dog together being such good mates.

What a great story. I was surprised to see that you went to Nashua for the adoption. That is where I was born and lived there for 60 years before moving to Ohio. Take care in this bad Frankenstorm
