Congratulations! And PLEASE, Thank him for all of us for what he has signed up for and is about to do in service to our country. Dang, it, I got to get the tissues. Prayers from the gulf for the Good Lord to watch over him and all the others and their families!

Congrats to you both. Not easy being an Army Mom. My son has been in the Army for 9 years and deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan. The worry never goes away.

Thank him for his service from a vet and ex of a career military, being family is hard too and what he is doing is wonderful.

Thank you all for sharing this with me it is hard to see him go off on his own and what a step he took but i am so very proud of him.and i will tell him what you all have said i am sure it will make his day..

i know that feeling the dh was in for 15 yrs and didn't think i was going to make it the last time he got deployed. but boy is it another ball game when its your baby...
