Do we need to be logged in to see photos? I'm hoping not because i sometimes send links to cute animal photos posted on here or quilt show pics. anyone know? I'm always logged in so i wasn't sure.

No I think as a guest they still see everything

You can see everything the same way even if you're an unregistered viewer.

All sections are viewable, including PDA.
