i need help finding directions for a old pattern for a doorstop made out of 5 pointed stars.
The article reads:it takes a dozen flowers, each made of five covered diamonds to form a cocklebur.
they finish 8 inches high. you will need some gravel and cardboard. the kit includes assortment of
fabric, a dozen matching buttons for centers, etc... from newspaper clipping circa 1930.
By the picture, the diamonds are sewn together to make 5 pointed stars. These are then connected
together by two sides to each other. The gravel would give it weight,,,,
Showed the picture to my 83 year old Mother and she remembers someone having one,but remembers it as being larger. But has no idea of how it was made.
Any ideas? have you seen the directions for it?
Just thought if anyone could help it would be here.
thanks for any ideas.
