Glad you are back. I'm sorry to say I didn't miss you as I was MIA also! LOL Haven't sewn all summer but now that the weather is getting somewhat cooler and the evenings are shorter, I hope to sit my hiney in front of a sewing machine and sew all fall & winter!

I started at around7:30am. Right after I finished posting a few things here. I have taken a break for a few minutes here and there. So what I have I been doing in between the breaks. Quilt making of course :P . I decided it was time to put together some of the blocks from some of the swaps I did here. In a moment I will be back to the sewing machine and I hope to get this top finished in the next few hours. Julia

I still have some yard work to finish up and the leaves aren't all off the trees here yet. Since I live in a very wooded area the yard isn't done until the leaves are mulched down or toted away. I still have to tear down my garden and put the gords to dry over the winter. Pumpkins and cabbages still have to be taken care of also. It has been raining here for a few days so that is just another reason that makes quilting perfect. Julia

I can only wish for a Bailey 17" machine I am using the Brother 1500s. I love the GQM and the Brother is great. Very smooth. I have the origional carriage and did just upgrade the track because the track that came with the GQM was a bit warped so would jerk when it crossed from piece to piece. I have feeling I will need to be and am happy with this set up for a very long time to come. I got a great deal on the entire set up with the wooden panto and a number of paper pantos too. Such an easy system to use too. Julia
