Our wally is currently in the process of bring back bolt fabric. They also have a nice display of precuts. What little bolts they do have right now seem to be of decent quality. Now the precuts they had before were very poor. Its not the best fabric and you do need to watch the quality. But I'll tell you this Joanns wont be seeing me nearly as often. In the last few months the quality of fabric has gone down even at my local quilt shop. So if I'm gonna get a lower quality fabric then i want a lower price.

Something is going on in our walmart too - but there were no employees around for me to ask - they've packed up the patterns and there is alot of stuff missing - I bet they are putting the fabrics back there too. :) Maybe with WM sewing dept returning JoAnn's will lower their prices a bit... and the good news - Hobby Lobby is coming to town!! :)

I was at my Walmart today and checked out the craft area where there has been minimal sewing/quilting items and fabric. Today there was less than last week, much less and emptying shelves.

They have started to stock our Walmart with fabric. Hope they bring in a good variety as right now the prices are higher than Joanns. $5-$6 yd. Will wait and hope the selection gets better.

was in our Wal Mart the other day and was looking at packaged material and a stock person came by and said that they were marking fabric down because they were getting an old fashion fabic department with a cutting table.......Good ....Good.....Good....... oh and by the way that young man was about 19 or 20........

I heard on the news last week the price of cotton is coming
down, so lets see if the fabric prices follow, or do they
have us hooked now at the higher prices.

I live in Central OH by a lake and I sure wish the Walmarts in this area would bring back the FD too! Currently, to get to JoAnn's I drive either north about 30 miles OR drive south 100 miles or east the same distance! HELP! WE all sent letters, emails and etc. to Walmart headquarterss BUT nothing is happening here! Boo Hoo!
