Thanks granny64, perhaps I'll do that! Good idea anyway, to change up the PW once in awhile...I emailed the letter, and have not heard back so far.. Only been a couple of days...

meanmom, Id like to see these ppl caught and shut down, so think I will follow thru with this...

I received the same notice a few months ago. I called paypal and they confirmed it was not from them. They had me forward the email to them because they want to investigate and prosecute. Please call them, they may want you to do the same.

when you get an email like that, put your mouse over the "link" where they want you to click (DO NOT click on it!) - look on the bottom left of your screen and you will see where the link would take you. Bet you dollars to donuts it is NOT paypal. It may say something like. www.rd42.paypal.ru - they will have paypal in there, but it will not be paypal.com.

I have been receivimg credit card offers supposedly from pay pal. I don't even open them, just hit the delete button. Don't know if is real or spam but not taking a chance, plus don't need another credi card.

I have had these emails to. Don't open it. But do report it to [email protected].. I reported mine and after I never got anymore.
