    Default Warning letter from Paypal...?

Or so it said....Looked very real, with my full name on it...Well, after reading it ,without opening, it still looked very real...case # and all.. I've read too many warnings about this, including on this board. They even wrote that this is my 2nd warning.
Went to my PP account, thru the PP link of course, not the letter link, and I see nothing unusual...If they close me down, THEN I'll know if it's real or not... (I have had no trouble on paypal) In the meantime, it's the right thing to just ignore these things....
I probably should phone them, but not yet..

Maybe you should let PP know what has happened . They may be able to follow up for you.

Forward the email to [email protected] . They will email you back and tell you whether it is spam or the real thing. Chances are about 99.99999% it is a phishing email you can delete.

A lot of companies have a spoof email. The advantage of actually forwarding them the email is that they can examine the inner details and sometimes catch the senders, thus saving you and others more of the same.

My Son and Daughter has gotten these before. I don't have a pay pal account. It is a scam.

Also, Beware of the Post Office one that is circulating. DO NOT click on anything from a post office. Call your own PO instead.

There's also one from Adobe...they say they have had some problems and have changed the password to your account. Don't know if it's real, and don't have a clue where to send it to find out. Anybody?

I always contact Paypal thru their site either by email or phone when I get one of those emails. Always has been a scam. They had me forward the email to them so they could try to stop them.

This happened to my husband. He phoned paypal and they said it was an identity scam. Phone them and they will have you change your password and login info.
