What is there about trying to wash a floor that makes people think they just HAVE to cross it before it's dry?

I can try to wash the doggone thing at 2 AM and someone will have to traipse across it for something or other.

I know on the grand scale of things, it's about a minus 538 in importance. At the moment, though, it's about a plus 10 in aggravation to me.

I know what you mean, now only three of us here and 1 not all them or comes in later. I make sure to not waste my time until the pets go to bed. Sweeping and mopping is very attractive to a few of them.

I know what you mean! I even put a fan on mine hoping that it will get it try before they start tracking across it! Never works! If its not hubby & son ...its those 3 fur babies!

I've started to use one of the microfiber cloths for washing the floor - works MUCH BETTER than the sponge - the floor is dry almost immediately.

Next time as they are walking across , hand them the mop :wink: LOL

I block my kitchen off so nobody can get in. And trust me with this menopause starting nobody wants to cross my wet floors or they will feel the rath of mom.
