They claim that gas will jump back up soon due to the increased price of oil, then drop till July then go up again. It will go back up to $4 a gal if oil closes at $130. Food and clothes are also climbing.
This came from Wall Street from what the news reported.

Yikes, if gas goes to $5 a gal, the country would shut down pretty quick, many would be unemployed etc. This is not a good time for oil companies to be raising prices - greedy monsters.

Conspiracy?! Seems price of gas always goes up just before summer, then down a tad for vacationers (so we'll spend $$), but watch for it to jump back up end of summer... They are shameless!

I'm spending a lot more time at home nowadays. And when sister and I visit each other, we go by train, which we both love. It's far cheaper and easier on the nerves than to drive, and there's no one weighing our suitcases. If we can carry it or drag it, it's okay with Amtrak.
