And the Tortured Flower Garden bloomed! Honestly! I have only watered twice in the last 2 years (trying to be good & conserving water), I rarely fertilize or do ANYTHING to these beauties. :D
.

These little roses are pale green when they first open, then change to a lovely cream when they are completely full.

ROSES!!!

They are amazing!

Someday I will live in a place where I can grow them. Here in northern NY I can buy them and enjoy them for one year, but after the winter only a few come back and the flowers are not that great.

In the "olden days" when they were watered on a regular basis, the irises bloomed pretty much all year long. 8) One of my friends saw them when I posted them on Facebook & said that all he got was weeds from the rain. LOL I'm just smart enough not to take pics of the weeds!

I'm jealous!!!
We are just starting to see the daffodils around here!!
I am so waiting for the warm weather!! It seems to be taking forever! We tend to have one nice day and then two or three yucky ones!!
I would love to be able to smell those beautiful roses!!!
