These pictures were taken at the ski area about 30 minutes from our house. I found this slide-show on our local TV website.

We got some much needed rain, not enough to affect anything very much but enough to water the lawn and flowers.

Oh nice snow... Sorry folks I love Autumn and Winter. Love to snuggle under a quilt with the window open and listen to the rain. While watching "Munsters go Home" on TV of course.

Snow in August??? I guess I'm dreaming if I think it will snow here in south Louisiana anytime soon. It's in the 90's here now.

I hate snow but I hate 90 plus degrees also. I am ready for cool crisp mornings!

I'm with Erstan, would like some cooler weather. Get my wish Sat. and Sun. of course, holiday weekend. But snow in Aug and that much is way too early. Not looking forward to it at all. Have to win lottery and move south, lol!

WOW! We had rain in the Willamette valley. It smelled so good this morning and sounded wonderful as the drops of rain hit outside my bedroom window. I was hoping for a little longer for summer oh, well.
