I'm really excited about getting to buy a house. Last weekend hubby and I spent two days looking at houses. We put a bid in on one on Monday. The sellers weren't very forthcoming and by Friday I told our realtor to withdraw our bid on that house and put a bid in on our second choice. Our second choice is cheaper anyway. The sellers of house #2 came back with a slightly higher counter offer so we'll take it. Our closing date is April 1st or before.

I'll have a nice big sewing room and a good size kitchen. We'll also have an actual guest bedroom and plenty of room to put kids on the floor in sleeping bags.
