What a wonderful surprize it was to look outside this morning and see beautiful snow sparkling under the streetlights! I do wish I didn't have to travel anywhere today but it's only about 30 miles and I can wait until I know the roads are clear. We didn't get much---just about an 1" but at least it's good for the holiday spirit. Makes me want to shop for Christmas which is what I have to do today so. . . . :D :-D :-D

I am so glad you have it and very glad we don't. The closer we get to spring without it is good. I don't mind snow, actually, but I abhor the ice.

We had...........rain.
Buckets of it; so much so the pond is muddy brown and nearly overflowing this morning. Can hardly believe there weren't any leaks inside, as the wind was (and is!) blowing quite gustily. At least we have patchy sun now, even though it's cold.

Yep! It's coming down in Lexington,KY too. Not too much on the ground yet. Can't say that it excites me like it does some of you. I worry too much about the kids out and driving on it , especially during rush hours. snow isn't too bad, but I hate the ice!

I'm from north central Illinois. We got a little dusting along the ditches last night but the boys were dissapointed that they couldn't make snow balls this morning! I like a little snow...it makes the season a little more special :)
