Does iTunes cause spam?

I have recently figured out how to get iTunes to work (after downloading it and uninstalling it a few times).
Anyway, now my email (that I've had for several years without problem) is being flooded with spam.
I don't download things usually so all I can think of is it must be because of iTunes somehow.
Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks for telling me none of you have had spam problems from iTunes.
I really didn't want to uninstall it permanently. I've found several songs I've been wanting there.
But I can't figure it out where I visited that's gotten my email address. Grrr

No problems here. Check out some of the Quilting pod casts. I've really enjoyed listening to them and best of all, they are free.

No problems with iTunes. I do tend to get more spam from time to time. Sometimes I'll go for months and not get any, then all of a sudden there are 20 in one day.

type quilt or quilting in the search box and it will bring some up = they are people who chat about quilting. Some have guest speakers. They are quite enjoyable.
