Power just flickered here. We've had mostly freezing rain & sleet up until now & now the snow is moving in. The next town over has power lines down & I'm praying that we don"t loose power. Just closed I-70 out by Wentzville MO but that is a long ways from here. Winds are kicking up & having white out conditions. AND I haven't sewn a stitch all day. Now when the power is out I will be wishing!

Snow here but it's stopped for the time being... about 14 inches but that could be drifts.... still a lot of white stuff... staying warm inside and quilting :D

Right now I would rather have snow. We have freezing rain and are under a "RED" snow emergency, which is no traveling. So snow would be welcome. It is easier to get around in.

My bench is totally under snow...5 ft, we are surrounded by walls of snow...like living in a snow castle. and now they are saying another big storm this Sat. And of course more snow and ice today and tomorrow...AH winter...glad to be retired and able to sit and watch it snow and not have to go out.

Ah, yes. Although I will be sewing ( I do hope) tomorrow on our snow day. Just have to remember that we make these up in June with no air conditioners so we pay for them in the end!

Our news says 14 states are getting hit with this storm. We're only getting freezing rain as of now. This is enough to keep me in! Our schools have only closed twice....one for 9 inches and the other for 16 inches. Anything below 6 they won't consider.

I am done! Need the warm weather now!
