I just got a new netbook and it has a web cam. I haven't checked out all the 'bells and whistles' yet, but thought I'd ask if I can use it as a camera to take pictures of my quilts.

Hey, mine does, too, what a great idea! Then it would already be saved in the computer memory!!!

We have net books so we can Skype with our children and grandchildren. I actually read bedtime stories to my oldest grandson. He crawls into bed and his mother(my daughter) puts the computer next to his bed. I hold the book up to the laptop and read to him. My children and grandchildren are in Virginia and I'm in California. Skyping in the the best.

Thank you , everyone! Now, I just need to figure out how to do it! Where's a kid when you need one? Honestly, I tried to look it up in my online manual. No luck. I'm sure it's easy once one knows. Thanks, again.
