Default Anyone make dog toys?

I ordered some sherpa fleece to make our dog a fuzzy bone. His fuzzies can't have anything sticking off them or he rips them up. The fuzzy bone he has is worn out and I haven't found one big enough for him so i thought I'd try making one. He loves the crinkly sound in some toys, does anyone know what they use for that? What do you stuff them with, regular poly stuffing stuff (real clear aren't I LOL) from Joanns?

Thanks, Suzy and Thor

Some use potato chips bags, scrunched up, in with the stuffing to make that crinkly sound.
Regular poly stuffing will work just fine.

I made my big dog a toy with plastic bottle inside - the kind that bottled water or soda comes in. I placed a rock inside the bottle (no screwed on cap) before I encased it in some old batting and old heavy-duty upholstery fabric. He had hours of fun with it before it was destroyed. It lasted longer than any purchased toy.

If I did that my dog would rip the toy apart so she could lick out the potato chip crumbs!

Mine too Andi!!! He loves potato chips. Now if veges came in a crinkly bag I could use that LOL. Thanks MaryMo, the bottle idea is great. Hmmm, guess I'll be making him more than one toy. Nope, he's not spoiled or anything.
