Went to the new Hobby Lobby in our town.
I found some nice material for my hexagon quilt.
It was very good quality.
I think it is going to hurt our other craft stores and quilt stores and Joann's.
I'm very pleased in what I bought there.
Everything I got cut was on sale too.

they have good quality fabrics...and decent prices, so it may hurt some of the businesses.

It might force the others to reduce their prices, but maybe the others' prices were too high anyway? Competition is good for business. It never lets them forget that they depend on the customer to come in and purchase what they sell, and if they aren't competing in the price range, they might lose business. That's just the way it is. If they have fair prices and good customer service they should be all right, because most people will check out other stores that sell the same things that they do and if the customer service and prices are better at the new place they might stay there.

They have had their cotton fabrics 30% off for 3 years here, per the clerk in fabrics. At one store the clerk will put full price on the ticket so you can use the 40% off coupon as coupons do not apply to sell prices.
I love their fabrics.

I always check their remnants. They can get marked way down. Last trip was 41/2 yards for about $5.
