ME TOO ! My friend went to Buffalo and got tickets and never got for me as expected. I didn't hold a grudge but we are no longer friends.

In turn i had daughter cook on big stove instead of that
Easy Bake Oven she wanted. Hope she forgot.

I never got a real Barbie, but I did get an imitation one. Some of the first things I sewed was clothes for that imitation Barbie, on a treadle machine in the early 60's.

Me too! I now have seven or eight and they go under my tree every Christmas.

My birthday is so close to christmas. My family always gave me a bd gift however it was always wrapped in christmas paper. Made you feel like they took one of your christmas gifts and gave it to you for your bd.. So, I take my birthday in May. LOL

I wanted a blue two wheeler bike. Never got it as a kid. Then my DH got us a matching pair of mt. bikes in - Blue. I was happy, 40 years later.
