I stayed in the kitchen making egg rolls while little man played out back in a hole and the dirt. It is amazing as to what can make a child happy.

I love it!! No computer, no gameboy and he is having a great time. would like to see more kids doing this. Usually they're inside playing video games. What a cutie he is!

I worked and then picked up the little one from school and went to JoAnns. 26 yards of clearance fabric & 9 simplicity patterns... Spent $72.45 and saved a whopping $143.51. That's like $2 per yard for the fabric and the patterns for free. SOOO happy I made the trip down there now!!!

Cute little guy! Just my style, playing in the dirt.

I finished cutting out my 1.5" pieces for the postage stamp swap. Yahoo! I'm done with all 15 sets, and a few extra for the host.

The best part of the day was having 2 grandgirls over...we filled the car with gas, got milk & assorted goodies, had a tea party, washed the car, jumped in the water in the driveway, and went to the park where we got incredibly sandy (if you're wet from washing the car, the sand sticks to you). And then it was time to get some water to drink and drive home in the convertible with the top down.

And now I'm on my way to my first visit ever to Hobby Lobby...which I'd never heard of before I joined this board. Hope I find some good gadgets!

Both grandkids spent Friday night( Sydney8,Dylan5) and after breakfasdt we headed out to The Gap for clothes shopping. Fun seeing what an 8 year old girl will pick out when on her own!!LOL Then it was to Beef O'Bradys for lunch, and then home for playing outdside. They love riding their bikes here, and swinging on the treee swing. Later we made Cocoa Drop cookies(candy). Big mess, lotds of fun and now they have gone to spend the week-end with their daddy. and grandma and grandpa are worn out!! Loved every minute with them!!!!

I am finishing the machine embroidery blocks for a 50 state bird/flower redwork quilt. I only have a few to go, been working on it all week. I've been wanting to make this for a long time so it's worth the work.

I packed up boxes to be mailed. Koressa just turned 7 so we sent her a bunch of new clothes and a winter jacket for her and one for Sayra.
And I sent out Miss Nat's doll quilt for her Piggy.

Then back into the sewing room to work on some 18 x 18 quilt blocks.
