So I'm a lifeguard at an outdoor pool with that wretched pool deck and my feet have never cracked this much. It's getting to the point that it hurts to walk barefoot, and since I hate wearing shoes, it's killing me! What are your remedies for dry, cracking heels?
...I've ped-egged the crap outta them and still painful and cracky.

Put vaseline on your feet before you go to bed, with socks over them. keeps the vaseline on your feet. Good luck, hope this helps you.

I am not a lifeguard nor do I have my feet in water as much as you. But in the summer time, I get dry cracked heels. A cream called Eucerin (get the original formula to start) and apply. I only applied at night after my bath, but you might apply it several times a day. You will find it at Walmart, Walgreen's or other chains in the hand lotion dept. Hope it helps.

bag balm works wonders! smelly and greasy, but wear a pair of cotton socks to bed and your hands or feet will be beautiful in the morning :0)

ilovequilts, I have feet like yours. Very painful. Nigh is telling you truth about this cream. I put it on after ever shower & put on socks. I also apply it heavily at night & sleep in socks. I ped-egg my feet before my showers, and for the first time in all my 56 yrs. my feet are smooth & soft as can be. Eucerin Original is the answer for my poor cracked heels. And I have seen Drs all over for this & nothing has worked like Eucerin. Hope you will try it.

Alright... easiest trick in the book...

Since they are so bad, you HAVE to do at least a week or two intensive care lotion.

Put on at night on each foot, massage into feet. Put on socks, and then go to bed. Light socks in summer...

After one to two weeks, just put lotion on them after every shower. Works on my feet (When I rememebr to do so).

I use Vaseline Intensive care... and Vaseline Aloe Vera lotion... works wonders.

My 40yr old daughter's heels are horribly dry and cracked, even bleed at times. She bought the stuff on TV (heel-tastic) and loves it. It worked very fast she said. She said she can buy it in drug stores now.
