Nothing to drink or eat allowed in the sewing room, but usually have iced tea (decaf) upstairs. That's how I get my exercise, going up and down the stairs to get my drink. Afternoons I switch to water with lime juice added.

I visited my 70+ aunt in Kentucky. She had a little quilt studio (formerly a garage) behind her house with a handquilting frame set up. I walked out early one morning and she had a beautiful quilt on the frame and it was partially quilted. On top of the quilt were a pack of needles, her quilting thread, and a half-pint bottle of Kentucky's best. She said it helped keep her fingers nimble.
